Julang Jembar Media is a publishing and printing company based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Established in 2020, the company was founded by Indonesian writers Dorothea Rosa Herliany and Gus tf Sakai, together with film director Gunawan BS.
We built the website as a bilingual company profile in Indonesian and English, giving Julang Jembar Media a professional platform to introduce the company, showcase its published books, and share literary works from its founders.
Beyond the book catalog, the website also publishes poetry, essays, and blog content, allowing it to function as both a corporate website and an ongoing editorial space. Visitors interested in purchasing a book can contact the publisher directly through an integrated WhatsApp chat button.
Because the website also serves readers outside Indonesia, performance and international content delivery were part of the technical setup. The site uses LiteSpeed Cache, automatic image compression and WebP conversion, and a premium CDN to help deliver pages and media efficiently across different locations.
Sakato Studio was also involved in the content itself. In addition to designing and developing the website, we helped rewrite the company profile copy and prepare the English translations, with the final content reviewed and approved directly by the website owners.
